Who we are
We are an enthusiastic group of international volunteers organising a replacement event for DrupalCon Europe in close cooperation with the Drupal e.V. – The German Drupal Association as the responsible legal entity.
Our aim is to organize a sustainable and affordable event where people from the European (and global) Drupal community can collaborate together on tackling challenges and engage in order to make Drupal grow both as a technology and as a brand.
Prices
All prices on the ticket shop are including the German VAT of 19% for t-shirts or the reduced VAT of 0% for tickets (non-profit event). Travel or accommodation of any kind is not included in the ticket price.
Refunds
We do not provide refunds for tickets you do not use. You are nonetheless welcome to transfer your ticket to a person of your choice.
Transfer
You may transfer your ticket any time before the first day of the conference to a person of your choice. However, you must not re-sell any tickets for a higher price than you paid yourself. After the conference started, you may not transfer your ticket anymore. If the attendee's badge has already been printed by the time of transfer, we are not able to adjust for the attendees details on the badge anymore.
Cancellation
The organisers may change the date of the event if there is an urgent reason. The organisers may cancel the event or a sub event like a track, a workshop or a session for any reason.
If a part of the program you explicitly paid for does not take place, you can be refunded on request for that part, excluding the fee for the parts that still take place. Further claims against the organizer can not be made.
The organizer will try to provide a reasonable replacement, in that case no refunds will be made.
Accessibility
The venue has been inspected and certified as an accessible company, for more details see Darmstadtium's website.
If you have any special requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We will do our best to accomodate to your needs.
Photos, videos and quotes
We will take photos and shoot videos at the event. In case you participate in the event, you automatically transfer the right of use to us and expect us to use them on social media and other means. The material may as well be used for marketing of future events, or other means.
If you want to take photos, make sure to share them on social media by using the hashtag #drupaleurope. If you publish them by other means, make sure to tell us, so we can tell the other attendees about it. Make sure to respect copyright and privacy laws.
You may not do video or sound recording of the official conference sessions unless permission has been explicitly granted by the organizers.
In any case you are requested to publish your own photos, videos or audio recordings under a Creative Commons license.
Drupal Europe is a fun and visual event and we love to share it with the world via pictures and video. What makes pictures and video interesting? People!
We also know that not everyone wants to be photographed.
You will likely see a staff member or someone who works with us taking pictures and/or video at the event. When possible – for example when photographing a person or small group – we will get verbal permission from those being photographed. When photographing larger settings like the keynotes or the exhibit floor, it may be difficult or impossible to get everyone’s permission.
We will do our very best to be respectful of every attendee’s wishes. We also encourage attendees to take and share their own photographs, as long as the rules below are followed.
- If someone asks not to be photographed, please stop photographing them, delete those pictures and don’t attempt to do it again. Simple!
- Photography/video recording should not be done in a way that it is deliberately hidden from the subjects being photographed/recorded.
- Those taking photographs and/or video must adhere to the event Code of conduct.
